Twitter Bias

This is a screenshot from my twitter set up page. This post does not have anything to do with current news. This post is important because it shows how interdependent media and politics are at every level.  As I am setting up my twitter I come across this page suggesting who to follow. It seems innocent, or even helpful. Twitter is just assisting me in the setup process of its site. I come across this section titled politics. It gives me the option to follow CNN, Huffington Post, and Fox news. I realized in this moment that this is the most simple form of mass medias role in politics. Twitter is mass media and it is showing us what political pages we should follow. This is how most people get their news about politics. Three sources is barely enough to get the full story about politics, and who is to say that people follow al three of these sources or any of them...
